The Palm Oil industry is failing to halt the clear cutting of primary tropical forest, as increasingly are the industry’s principle regulator, the R.S.P.O.
Governments have so far been equally ineffective in addressing the negative effects of Palm Oil production, often citing the undoubted economic benefits the Palm Oil industry brings.
