Illegal Palm Oil, Tesoo Nilo National Park

Over 15,000 hectares have been lost to Illegal Palm Oil plantations inside Tesoo Nilo National Park, Sumatra

A recent WWF report has highlighted the illegal deforestation and palm oil production within the Tesso Nilo National Park and documented its entry into the legitimate palm oil supply chain through Palm Oil giants Wilmar, members of the RSPO and suppliers to major supermarket brands such as Kelloggs and Unilever.
